This Cookie Policy explains how 99 HP Tech Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website Skins.com, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO).

By using our site, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with this policy. This document explains what cookies are, how we use them, and how you can manage their use.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your actions and preferences over time, so you don’t have to re-enter them each time you return.

Cookies improve functionality, personalize content, and analyze traffic. Some cookies may collect data that qualifies as personal data under applicable laws.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

3. Personal Data and Cookies

Under Hong Kong’s PDPO, cookies that contain data capable of identifying an individual (e.g., name, phone number) are considered personal data. If such cookies are used, we ensure that:

• You are informed of the purpose of data collection.

• You understand the types of data collected and how it may be used or transferred.

• You are given the opportunity to manage your preferences.

Hong Kong law generally allows implied consent for cookies, provided users are properly informed—except in cases involving direct marketing, which require explicit consent.

Under the EU’s GDPR, we rely on explicit, granular consent for all non-essential cookies. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our site come from third-party services, such as advertising networks or analytics providers. We do not control these cookies.

These third parties may place cookies in your browser to collect data about your interaction with their content or advertisements. Such cookies are typically analytical or targeting in nature.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

• View and delete existing cookies.

• Block third-party cookies.

• Block all cookies from being set.

• Automatically delete cookies when you close your browser.
